Welcome to Ghana’s Product Development Guide website. The tourism product development guide is meant to assist existing and future tourism developers, investors, and planners to improve their products, making use of good practices from some of Ghana’s successful African competitors.
About this Guide
This Guide looks at six main tourism product areas; eco-tourism, cultural tourism, adventure tourism, historical heritage tourism, water-related tourism, and agro-tourism. For each of the six product areas, the Guide offers a brief overview of key concepts and principles, a self-assessment checklist, and examples of good practices from other countries. Wherever possible, links to additional sources of information are mentioned.
